“ Small talk” drawing with charcoal, 100 x 100 cm 2016
Drawing, 100 × 100 cm, charcoal on paper
1st Prize – International Exhibition of the Art Academy Luxor (Egypt), 2016
A dialogue about dignity and perception: This large-format charcoal drawing depicts a figure bent low over a trash can—a moment of isolation that simultaneously becomes a reflection of society. With powerful lines and a turbulent structure, the work raises questions about visibility, humanity, and social ignorance.
“Small Talk” won first prize in the drawing/painting category at the prestigious international exhibition at the Luxor Art Academy.

Portrait “Two-Sight” pencil drawing, 80 × 60 cm, paper
Private commission – not sold
This finely nuanced pencil drawing, commissioned as a work, portrays an elderly couple with striking closeness and dignity. The inclusion of newspaper clippings in the background alludes to biographical traces and opens up a second level of memory – a "dual perspective" of present and past.
Although the client was subsequently willing to pay a significantly higher price than originally agreed upon , I deliberately withdrew from the negotiations . Because for me, my attitude and respect as an artist are non-negotiable, and a respectful relationship and loyalty to the client are worth far more than any amount of money! Therefore, I choose my clients consciously, not based on their wallets!
With the consent of the client, this work is now part of my private collection and will be used for exhibitions and advertising purposes – up to a possible later sale.

Portrait “Amina” pencil drawing, 30 × 40 cm, paper
"This portrait was created in a moment of quiet attention, amidst the warm light of Egypt's northern coast. Amina—from my wife's family—embodies a delicate blend of intellect and grace. This drawing is more than a gift. It is a silent expression of closeness, respect, and the joy of touching the invisible with a glance, elevating the family to the highest level of love and connection."

This drawing is more than a gift. It is a silent expression of closeness, respect, and the joy of touching the invisible with a single gaze - placing family at the highest level of love and deep connection.

Fragment of the future
A small glance – as big as a promise. A quiet face that gazes upward, not out of defiance, but with the courage of a beginning. There's no doubt in this face, but rather the question: "What is possible if I grow?" No words are needed when the light speaks from the eyes.
This drawing is a fragment of the future – captured in pencil, born on paper, kept in the heart.

Portrait of a Truth Fighter Pencil drawing, 30 × 40 cm, paper
Frankfurt am Main, 2019
This drawing was created as part of an activist series with the Frankfurt-based art movement "Truth Fighters . " It depicts a portrait of an Egyptian journalist who was persecuted, arrested, and publicly humiliated for his fearless exposure of social injustices—a fate he shares with many courageous colleagues around the world.
The reduced side view, the softness of the light, and the texture of the hair contrast with the heaviness of the background: truth needs protection. Truth has a face. With this series, I regularly portray journalists from different countries – as a symbol of visibility, recognition, and resistance against being forgotten.
Involvement in the Truth Fighters Association

Self-portrait sketch
As an active member of the Truth Fighters eV association, I am committed to raising the profile of journalists who have been persecuted or murdered because of their work. As part of this, I have created several portraits that address the fate of these courageous individuals and tell their stories. A central work in this series is the portrait of an Egyptian journalist who was subjected to repression because of his reporting. Through my art, I want to send a message of solidarity and underscore the importance of press freedom.
