An iconic gaze – seen anew. This free study after Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring is less a copy than a quiet dialogue with the original. The nuances of the face, the play of light and shadow, the slightly detached gaze: all of this remains familiar yet simultaneously bears the hallmarks of another era. An echo of old mastery, quiet, close, and yet somehow new.

“The Valley Within Me”
